Hippity - - -!

Introducing Hippity! She is a new long eared bunny! I have actually been wanting to do a long eared bunny for about a year, and finally found the cutest socks to make one! Hippity has a twin, but he isn't quite ready for the camera yet!

In other news! We are going to be participating in a craft show next Saturday, November 8, at Grandville Christian School we are very excited about it! It is also the reason that new animals are not being added to our site right now, they are all being prepped for the craft show! Come check us out! We will be booth 21, and we will be having a craft show special, so you can get a deal!

Hope to see you there!

Also we will probably be having another contest next week, so keep checking on us!

Re-introducing!

Blanco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted this blog to be about a couple new bunnies I have been working on... but in my work, I found little Blanco. When I first made him I thought he was a little plain, but wasn't quite sure what to do... Here is the picture of him from our website...

And here he is now! I think he is looking much better, and snazzier if I do say so myself!

With this new look Blanco probably won't be available for much longer!!!

So, you will have to wait until next time to see the new bunnies, which are quite adorable so far!!!

And, just to keep you all interested, we will be doing more contests! Don't worry. We are going to try to do about one a month, and the prizes will likely be different from month to month. So, keep checking in on us!

Also, with the holiday season fast approaching we are working on some fun new limited time animals for Christmas! We are also going to be doing a couple local craft shows, more about that next time though.

Make My Amalies yours!!!

And the winner is....

Elicia! Please email us at info at myamalies.com and let us know which baby myamalies you would like!

Thanks to everyone else for participating! Keep checking back, this is only the first of many contests!

Happy Birthday...

to me!

Well, next week anyways.... My birthday is Sunday, which, by MY count is 4 days away!

SO! In honor of my birthday we will be having our first givaway!

It is super easy too! Just comment to THIS blog and we will randomly select a winner! It really couldn't be easier than that! The winner will be announced on my birthday!

And the prize you ask????

It is your choice!

You can choose ANY baby My Amalies animal!!! How great is that? The babies are my favorite, they are so fun to make, and so cute!

So, don't forget to leave a comment here, and you could be a winner

And this little zebra, is the newest addition to the clan! Unfortunately, someone already has dibs on him, but there are plenty more where he came from! We are going to have to add a special zebra wing to the website the way I have been making them!

I hope everyone has a fantastic week, and good luck to all of you!

Zebra Crazy!

Since I promised I would soon be doing a blog post soon, here I am!

Meet Charlie Horse:

Don't fall in love too fast! This one is spoken for! He was made for a little baby who will litterally be born any day now!

After making this Charlie horse I found my new love of making Zebras, or zeborses as we lovingly call them, because they can be a zebra or a horse! Charlie here even is personalized with his name, something we love to do!

This is the new gang! I bought some fun striped socks and thought they would make great zebras! So here they are!

I like the pinkish purple one the best... I bought it because I thought it was pastel pink, and I was going to give it to my daugher0, Addie, but it is darker, so I thought I would share that one with the world!

I really like the red and green also, so vibrant!

They are all best friends!

They can stand or they can sit, or their favorite, cuddling!

These zebras are without names, any suggestions? The challenge: their names have to star with the letters between A and M! They will be listed on our website soon, once they have their individual photo shoots!

I hope everyone enjoyed these critters and I hope I come back to some good name suggestions for them!

Have you missed us?

After taking the summer off from blogging, we've decided to start up the new (and improved!) My Amalies blog.

So what were we up to all summer? We participated in our first local craft show, we fulfilled many custom orders and even made a few for our own friends and family to enjoy.

And what is there to look forward to this upcoming holiday season? New sock patterns added to our custom section, new animal creations (stay tuned!) and well, LOTS of My Amalies love

So sit back, enjoy the new found excitement of My Amalies: The Blog, and cuddle your very own My Amalies critter.

Stay tuned... if you don't already have your own critter to cuddle with, or if you just don't have enough (and really, who could?) we are going to have some fun contests where you can WIN a My Amalies animal to start, or add to your collection!
